Malaysian Joint Venture
EPE Wilson Transformer Sdn Bhd (EWT) is a joint venture company between Wilson Transformer Company and Malaysian based TDR.
The joint venture agreement was signed in 1993 between WTC and EPE Power Company.
The establishment of EWT is in response to the government’s vision to increase local expertise in high technology manufacturing
within the power industry. The design and manufacturing know how for the joint venture was supplied by Wilson Transformer Company.
The head office and manufacturing plant of EWT is located on 2 hectares of land in the Arab-Malaysian Industrial Park, Negeri Sembilan,
Malaysia. The 6000 sq meter plant is designed towards the effective and efficient production of high quality 3 phase distribution
transformers in large volumes. The plant is also equipped with capability to increase output with minimal additional capital expenditure.

- Oil immersed hermetically sealed distribution transformers
- Earthing transformers
- Prefabricated substation units
