Gannawarra Energy Storage System
Australia is experiencing a significant growth market for the large-scale battery projects to help improve the reliability of the grid. Early this year the ARENA and the Victorian Government jointly provided $50 million in funding for two large-scale energy storage battery projects in Victoria. This includes the 25MW/50MWh Gannawarra Energy Storage System (GESS), being developed by Edify Energy. WTC was awarded a contract to deliver 10 x 2.75MVA 33,000/440V kiosk substations to this project. More >
