Wilson Transformer Company (WTC) is actively supporting an investigation into issues at the Waratah Super Battery site involving two transformers.

We are working closely with our project partners to undertake a detailed inspection and analysis to determine the root cause. The investigation is ongoing, and the root cause has not yet been determined.

WTC is a trusted manufacturer that has been operating since 1933, with a 92-year continuous record of delivering high quality transformer solutions to support Australia's critical infrastructure. This includes designing and manufacturing a significant number of high voltage transformers up to and including 330 kV in recent years, to numerous developments including BESS projects.

Today, our transformers operate across every major electricity network in the country, supporting both established infrastructure and new renewable developments.
