Our experienced team of engineers are capable of designing to both the ANSI and IEC standards with the manufacturing of the products taking place in our Australian facilities. Our commitment to the Oil & Gas industry is demonstrated by the extensive pre-qualification process undertaken with Chevron's global supply team. We became the first Australian qualified global supplier to Chevron in August 2012 and were awarded the transformer supply contract to the Wheatstone LNG project in Western Australia.

Project description
In late 2011, Chevron Australia began construction of the $29 billion Wheatstone Project, located 12 kilometres west of Onslow on the Pilbara coast of Western Australia. The foundation project will consist of two LNG trains with a combined capacity of 8.9 million tonnes per annum (MTPA), plus a 200 terajoule per day domestic gas plant. Wilson Transformer Company was awarded the contract to supply the power and distribution transformers via Bechtel and are in the final stages of manufacturing & testing with many products delivered already.

Queensland Curtis LNG (QCLNG) is the world's first project to turn gas from coal seams into liquefied natural gas, or LNG. The project, which commenced construction since 2010, will provide cleaner hydrocarbon energy for export markets from 2014. Wilson Transformer Company were awarded the contract to supply the power and distribution transformers via Bechtel and delivered them successfully.

Santos GLNG is a pioneering venture that will produce natural gas from Queensland’s coal seams and convert it into liquefied natural gas (LNG) for sale to world markets. Wilson Transformer Company were awarded the contract to supply the power and distribution transformers via Bechtel and delivered them successfully.

Project description
Exxon Mobil PNG Limited is a subsidiary of Exxon Mobil Corporation, a leading petroleum and petrochemical company. ExxonMobil has had a presence in Papua New Guinea since the 1920s, and in addition to construction of the PNG LNG Project, the company has interests in fuels marketing and oil production. Wilson Transformer Company supplied the 32 MVA power transformer successfully despite the challenging location.
